Get Involved

Donate. Volunteer. Inspire.

You can help the Relationship Research Institute sustain this innovative research to ensure a future where all couples, children and families can thrive and continue the legacy of Dr. John Gottman’s research. Here are some ways to get involved with the Relationship Research Institute:

Donate

While research may not be glamorous, it has the power and potential to create lasting, meaningful change in the lives of families and communities. Every donation helps the Relationship Research Institute continue this research and helps our programs grow. As a non-profit organization we rely solely on grants, community partners and individual donations. Thank you for sustaining this essential work through your contribution.

We thank the following organizations for their generosity with our current study, Creating Healthy Relationships: Annie E. Casey Foundation, Kirlin Foundation, Catholic Community Services, Navos, Hopelink, PCC Natural Markets, Fred Meyer, White Center Community Development Association, Museum of Flight.

Volunteer… as a Research Participant

At the core of all of our research are the generous couples and families who have donated their time and effort to participate in our studies. While we are not currently recruiting volunteers for a study, we welcome you to contact us to sign up for participation in future studies. Please review our Frequently Asked Questions as well.

Volunteer… for a Research Internship

Our research would not be possible without the dedication and efforts of our volunteer research assistants. Our diverse team includes undergraduate students seeking to gain research experience, Master’s level students interested in growing their clinical and research skills, and doctoral students and early career professionals seeking development opportunities. For more information about a volunteer research internship, please send a cover letter and vita.
